All events will be held at either the North End Arts Gallery or the Red Mug Coffeehouse -- both are located in the Historic Trade and Commerce Bldg at the corner of Hammond and Broadway in Superior.

Tami LaPole and Dan Edmunds join creative forces in “Relative Motion…an artistic journey.”  This multi media experience will show in the North End Arts Gallery.

The two are getting married in the North End Arts Gallery on August 23.  In a tribute to each other, to their artistic passions, and to their artistic grandparents, parents and child, they proudly introduce “Relative Motion…an artistic journey” which they would like to share with the public. LaPole and Edmunds said, “The gift of being an artist needs to be nourished and encouraged to grow.  We wish to thank and pay tribute to all of those artistic relatives in our lives that have been so encouraging and supportive in our lifetime journey as artists.”

This exhibit has previously toured Finland, Norway,the Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock, Michigan,and the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. It is made possible through grants from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council and the Finlandia Institute.

Duluth/Superior Boys and Girls Club Art Show See wonderful art produced by the Boys and Girls Club. Opening is from 5 -7 PM.

January 17th

North End Arts, Duluth Pottery and Red Mug Coffeehouse will host Third Thursday Artist Group on January 17th. The Third Thursday Artist group has been meeting for many years around the Twin Ports. It's an opportunity for artists to share their work and build a social network of artists. Typically the gatherings are held at individual artists homes or galleries. This month Karin Kraemer of Duluth Pottery is hosting along with NEA and Red Mug. Starts at 6:30 PM, enter through Duluth Pottery.

Community Open House and Gathering for members of the community who would like to learn more about North End Arts. Join us for an evening of art and discussion about North End Arts and our vision for more community involvement. Starts at

Saturday Morning Kids Art Classes Starting on February 9th North End Arts will be offering Saturday morning art classes for neighborhood children involved in the Boys and Girls Club. Classes will be held from 10 AM -12 Noon and run for six consecutive Saturdays. More information, including what type of art classes will be listed soon.
